Dear team,
As part of this Interfaith Workshop, we have made a great progress to build an icon to represent Buddhism to be presented in Dalai Lama 2011 Public Talk on July 17th at UIC Pavilion. Your dedication and teamwork is very much appreciated. We have learned quite a few things on Buddhism and expressed them through our inner artist. It's so amazing to see the talent within us to work in a team, to draw, paint, sketch, to brainstorm various ideas while respecting everyone's view point. I am so proud to be part of this group. I want to thank each and everyone of you for supporting this workshop.
Attached is the list of people attending the event. We are only getting 20 free admissions to the event and we have 22 names. I have requested for additional tickets. I will let you know if I get those tickets.
Our plan:
We will gather at Schaumburg's Woodfield Street by 11:45 AM and will do a car pool to go to Cumberland CTA Blue line station. We will take CTA blue line from Cumberland to go to the UIC. You are welcome to drive on your own or have your own way to reach to the UIC pavilion by 12:30 PM.
Our last gathering on this Sunday July 10th at 1 PM at the Temple:
This will be our last session. Please make all efforts to attend this session as we will be taking a group photos with the final product. We have also invited Jim
